I’ve spent the last few weeks researching distribution and so far, 2 of the songs (Trees and flowers and White horses) have been approved via routenote and should already be available for streaming on sites like spotify/apple music/amazon music etc.

The other 6 songs should be approved in the next few weeks. Each platform has it’s own processing time so some might take longer than others.

There is a new youtube channel for The Shapists which has a trailer video with short clips of each song. This video is needed as part of the approval process to turn the channel into the official artist channel, but it might take weeks or even months before it is approved. This is the link for the Shapists channel : https://www.youtube.com/@TheShapists

You can subscribe to that channel now, but I also recommend searching for “The Shapists” on youtube and finding an automatically generated channel called “The Shapists topic”. Or use this link for The Shapists topic channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWqAuJirXkjZggZ9OBvWItA

The topic channel will have the official songs uploaded from routenote with high quality audio and images, but you won’t be able to comment for now. Once the official artist channel is approved, “The Shapists topic” channel will be merged into our channel with all of the songs in one channel and you will be able to share/like etc.

I have also applied for ownership of the official artist pages on all the other platforms and those too have their own approval processes which take different times. But once I have approval I will update all of those artist pages like I have done in spotify with the correct banner images and website links etc.

I’m also waiting for approval on the musixmatch website and once approved I will add synced lyrics which will show up on streaming platforms that support synced lyrics.
