The vinyl has been pressed and the covers printed.
They are available to buy now from Mystic moon records in the USA, and we have 250 copies being shipped to us soon so you will be able to buy from us directly in the UK.
We will add a purchase by paypal link to the website and facebook page once we get the singles.
It may be one or two weeks from now.
We have a limited edition 7 inch 45 rpm vinyl coming out in the next few weeks on Joe Moon’s Mystic moon records.
It’s a double A side with the tracks “The warning” and “Dust index”.
The artwork is finished and will be printed very soon and the second vinyl test pressing has been approved by all of us so is also set to go.
The vinyl is being pressed by Archer record pressing in Detroit Michigan.

As mentioned in the previous post, just like “Dust index” this song was originally written by Jill just after leaving Strawberry switchblade in the mid 80s and it was recorded back then on a cassette tape as a demo.
So this is an all new 2014 Shapists version of the song which is very different from the old demo version.

Last Wednesday was The Shapists first birthday (18th).
I was hoping to have our latest track finished for release on that day, but it’s still in the final tweaking stage.
Chris Cordani is going to play the new track on his revenge of the 80s radio show next Friday (28th) so I’m now aiming to release it then.
It’s another cover version and it’s a song that I reckon every Shapists fan will know.
“White horses” was played for the first time on Chris Cordani’s Revenge of the 80s radio show.
This week Chris focuses on female artists and he plays White horses right after “Let her go” by Strawberry switchblade.

We had to delay the release of White horses as it’s a cover version and we had to apply for permission to use the song.
We now have that permission.
This is our version of the UK theme song to the 1965 television show “White horses”.
The original song was written by Michael Carr and Ben Nisbet and sung by Jackie Lee.
